--------------------------
“Humans are the only creature that will cut a tree down,
make paper, and print ‘Save the Trees’ on it”
“That guy gives me the creeps” Ian either shivered with the cold of the weather, or the thought of the estate agent.
“The guy has no idea how to conduct business professionally – I mean what the fuck was he going on about?”
“I have no idea really, I just nod. Something about his other half and her hen’s night do”
“What?” Ian looked back at the man, clearly overweight, balding before he was forty and limped from- if you
believed him, writing off his sports car. Sweat stains seen in the arm pits, the shirt collar already stained from wearing it too many times and not washing. The trousers were grey, but cheap and frayed at the cuffs. “Who the hell wears black shoes with grey?”
“What?” This time it was Fallon to question the conversation tangent.
“His dress sense is so far off…” Ian was not aware that he had spoken out loud until Fallon had questioned him.
“I thought you’d be more concerned that he had an other-half”
“Oh yeah, and that agree to marry him!”
“Not so loud” Fallon tried to hush his friend as they were still within earshot.
“Fuck ‘em, you’ve got the keys to a haunted house”
